         The Glover Family Reunion at Bonnie Doone Plantation outside of Walterboro, S.C. "I missed seeing all my cousins last year. This year I don't intend to be a stranger."  With the kind approval of cousin Jim Glover,   who puts this event together every year, I will have some GOING COASTAL books there for a little signing.

*May 30th, 2009

         The Gibbes Art Museum Gift Shop in downtown Charleston, S.C. I will be doing an all day book signing. This will take place during the run of Spoletto, at the Gibbes Art Museum on 135 Meeting Street from 10am until 5pm. I hope to meet a lot of folks there and sign many books. Those who stop by will be sure to catch some home spun island stories.

         The MoonPie General Store in downtown Charleston, 48 N. Market Street. Have a slice of the good old days, a Moon Pie, an RC Cola and a taste of Stumblin' Jimmy Watermelon. Memorabilia, good food, great people, tongue tied stories, one of a kind book signing....  Book signing starts at 11:30 am and runs until 3 pm or I'm broomed out the door!

          At Sohn and McClure Jewelers, located in South Winderemere Shopping Center on Folly Rd, in the West Ashley area of Charleston there will be a special gala event. Along with several other artists and artisans, Jim Palmer, Jr. will be in attendance with a signing of his book, GOING COASTAL, and an exhibit of his artworks.
